9 months - 4 years Deputy Room Leader Job Description This Nursery is looking for a Deputy room leader to become a part of their closenit team. The candidate must have a Level 3+ qualification in childcare. They must be enthusiastic, playful and have a good understanding of child development. This nursery has an Ofsted rating of 'Good'

This Nursery has a lot of exciting upcoming changes such as, introducing forrest school sessions, adopted the ethos of 'The Curiosity Approach' in our setting which puts the fun back into learning, allowing our children to explore resources.

The working hours would be Monday-Friday 8am-6pm and the setting is esily accessable with transport links and has limited car parking.

Duties include:

- Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education to all children in our care at least one day per week

- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery, holding overall responsibility for the day to day running of the nursery, and management of safeguarding and child protection policies

- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the needs of each child







What we're looking for:

-Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)

- Confident decision maker, with previous experience providing support and leadership to others to enable staff in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities

- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children

- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents

- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
