St. Mary’s Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Dermatologist to establish and lead our dermatology practice. As a vital part of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive dermatologic care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Responsibilities:
+ Establish and lead a new dermatology practice within St. Mary’s Healthcare.
+ Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
+ Perform dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and other minor surgical interventions.
+ Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
+ Provide patient education and counseling, ensuring patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
+ Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
+ Stay current with emerging treatments and advancements in dermatology.
+ Engage in community outreach and education programs to promote skin health.
Qualifications:
Required Credentials - Board Certified/Board Eligible Dermatologist licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of New York
Preferred Experience - Experience in establishing a new practice or program development is advantageous but not required.
Education - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
Skills - Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient-centered communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
+ Base Salary Range - $357,583 - $583,762 (commensurate with experience).
+ Competitive compensation package, including base salary + sign-on bonus and semiannual bonuses for productivity.

+ Retirement plans with employer contributions
+ Relocation assistance and annual CME allowance of $4,000 and 40 hours.
+ Potential eligibility for loan repayment programs due to our HPSA designation

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered dermatologic care.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Adherence to Standard Precautions and utilization of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
