Dermatology Advanced Practice Provider

The Division of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery in the Department of Medicine, Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant) to enhance patient care for Dermatology Mays Cancer Center, Hill Country, and De Zavala practice locations. The successful candidate will provide medical care and consultation to patients under the direction and responsibility of a physician, perform medical examinations, order laboratory and medical imaging test, make preliminary diagnoses, and provide treatment. Practice is limited by state statute. Employees typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities.

Applicants for this faculty position must possess state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant. Dermatology experience preferred.
