Seeking a Design Assurance Engineer!

Job Description

We are seeking a Design Assurance Engineer to contribute to the development of a pivotal study. The candidate will support design verification and validation activities crucial to our innovative medical device.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain risk management documentation.Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).Perform data analysis using JMP, similar to Minitab.Validate and document test methods.Work through the risk management system and translate it into a usable format for the organization.Integrate changes from the engineering side and evaluate their risk assessments.Collaborate with suppliers on electro-mechanical components.Essential SkillsRisk managementFMEADesign controlData analysisRoot cause analysisDesign assuranceExperience with JMP and MinitabChange management5+ years of experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in medical devices, automotive, or aerospace industriesElectro-mechanical backgroundWork Environment

This is a 100% on-site position within an extremely collaborative environment. Our client is developing a state-of-the-art device for treating prostate cancer, which has received U.S. FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for its minimally invasive therapy.
