Share Job Apply Now Share Job Job Description David Weekley Homes is seeking highly qualified and enthusiastic individuals for a Design City Coordinator in our Phoenix, Arizona office. Primary Responsibilities: + Holds Team accountable for results + Acts as key Division and Project contact + Attends all Preliminary and Final Market Product Development Meetings + Manages and conducts all market specific First Time Build and Model walks + Ensures that all architectural plans are compliant with the codes and requirements specified by the permitting authority in various cities as well as individual developer and lot specific requirements are met + Quality Control Checkpoint for new plans, elevations, and plan changes + Collaborate with Draftspersons on the development of both single-family and multi-family address specific plans for our various markets + Reports in weekly market meetings with key Customers + Ensures established product deadlines are achieved + Participates in weekly meetings with Design Production Manager to manage market workflow + Conducts weekly Team huddles to coordinate checking items and workload + Facilitates problem solving with fellow Team Members + Meets monthly and quarterly department performance measures/goals Qualifications + Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field preferred; or applied technical degree in Architectural design + Two or more years managerial experience in related field preferred, but not required + Four or more years working knowledge of construction and plans + Residential design experience is required + Knowledge of residential construction drawings + Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT preferred, but not required + Proficient with Microsoft Office + Excellent written and verbal communication + A strong Customer Service orientation with tact and professionalism to work with many kinds of personalities + Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers in person, on phone and via email + Excellent organizational skills and be accustomed to working in a time-sensitive environment + Must be able to prioritize and manage time efficiently and effectively multi-task at all times + An ideal candidate will also possess the following essential soft skills: team player, problem-solving, sense of urgency, detail-oriented, and adaptability Additional Information .
