Volt is immediately hiring a Mechanical Designer, in Burbank, CA.

As a Mechanical Designer you will:

\r\n\r\n

Design 3D models and drawings using Catia V5

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCatiaV5 expert level experience\r\n\tMust have experience creating complex designs as well as sub-assembly, and top assembly drawings.\r\n\tAbility to update engineering orders and make changes to existing drawings.\r\n\tMust have experience creating assemblies and drawings for test procedures.\r\n\tKnowledge of MBD (Model Based Definition) and its applications in the aerospace engineering environment and documentation will help a designer be successful in this role.\r\n\tExperience performing weight calculations (hand or Catia V5).\r\n\tStrong understanding of GD&T practices per ASME and ANSI standards.\r\n\tDevelop assembly BOMs.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Aerospace experience is a plus!

This is a contingent to hire opportunity.

Pay Rate: $40.00 - $50/ per hour

\r\n\r\n
