You'll work closely with experienced engineers to ensure our designs meet technical and safety standards, contributing directly to the success of future mobility solutions. **What You’ll Be Doing** + Drafting and updating electrical schematics and layout drawings for upcoming automotive projects + Assisting with the review and revision of existing electrical designs + Collaborating with senior engineers to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with HRC standards + Supporting cross-functional engineering teams with documentation and design development + Using CAD software and analysis tools to validate and optimize electrical layouts **What We’re Looking For** **Required Qualifications:** + Junior or Senior pursuing a BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering + Familiarity with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.) + Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and in teams + Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment **Preferred Qualifications:** + 1–2 years of experience with Formula SAE, BAJA, Hybrid, or similar automotive/motorsports projects + Experience with MATLAB, FEA tools, and electrical system design + Knowledge of electrical standards and schematic drafting best practices **Start Your Career With Purpose** At PDS Tech Commercial, interns are more than just learners—they're contributors to real-world engineering challenges.
