Responsibilities:

Providing technical support to Customers, Suppliers, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality departmentsUnder the guidance of more senior engineers, support the design, development and application of mechanical seals, bearings, tooling, and other Rexnord Aerospace productsCreate product definition packages, solid models, drawings and ECN’S.  Support development of product validation packagesParticipate in Continuous Improvement eventsMaintain/support existing products (ie. Non-conformance dispositions and returned material analysis)

Minimum Qualifications:

0-3 years of experience in Design Engineering.Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering.Capable of working within a team structure.Detail-oriented and self-motivated.Ability to create and interpret drawings and specifications.Knowledge of metals and composites.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience designing mechanical components.2-10 years of experience designing seals and/or bearings.Knowledge of 3D Solid Modeling software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, CREO, and/or CATIA.Experience with Design of Experiments.Exposure to machining, heat treating, and/or grinding.
