Summary: Seeking a Design Engineer to create custom designs and layouts for new projects, ensuring compliance with engineering principles and customer specifications.

Job Requirements:

Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or Creo for custom design creation

Capability to review project proposals or plans to determine project timelines and procedures

Ability to review product designs for adherence to engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements

Analytical skills to assess research data and product specifications for feasibility studies

Competency in evaluating design changes, specifications, and drawing releases

Experience in preparing costing reports for current and new designs

Preferred Skills:

BS in Engineering required; focus on hydraulic design preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field

Knowledge of truck manufacturing processes is advantageous

Previous automotive internships or experience valued

Job Responsibilities:

Generate custom designs and layouts meeting customer orders or other specifications

Ensure product design compliance with all relevant standards and requirements

Analyze data to determine the feasibility of product proposals

Assist with warranty issues as they arise

Prepare detailed costing reports on various designs
