Description
The Design Engineer is responsible for creating 2D and 3D designs of pumping systems / industrial equipment based on client specifications. They will use AutoCAD and Siemens NX to create the designs. The Design Engineer will support bom / bill of material, drawings, work instructions, test instructions, and provide technical support.
Perform design work and engineering tasks
Co‐ordinates the activities of the design and engineering department to ensure the effective design and manufacture of equipment in order to maximize profits and customer satisfaction.
Responsible for preparation of design and production packages
Technical review of incoming New Equipment orders.
Provide support to service department on technical issues for machines already in operation.
Lead final testing and quality inspection activities to ensure that machines meet design specifications before shipment.
Ensure that machines built meet company safety standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Engineering Degree
Minimum 0-3+ years experience in an engineering/manufacturing field.
Experience with AutoCAD and 3D Design Software required (Siemans NX, Solidworks)
Understanding of rotating machinery in an industrial application preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00
