Amazon's Rural Super Rural (RSR) delivery stations are part of their logistics network designed to serve smaller regional or rural markets. These stations handle both middle-mile and last-mile deliveries, focusing on areas that are less densely populated. RSR stations support delivery associates throughout the delivery process, track and analyze delivery metrics, and ensure compliance with safety and vehicle operation standards. They are crucial for extending our reach to more remote locations, ensuring that customers in these areas receive their packages efficiently.
ResponsibilitiesBuild design, development, review and release for approval, and deployment of new delivery stations and existing station capacity improvements and enhancements.Provide process expertise on engineering design, including material flow, labor placement, conveyors, equipment, operations modules, packaging profiles, physical building, and site layout components.Collaborate with Design Managers, CAD drafters, Real Estate Transaction managers, World Wide Engineering (WWE), Pre-Construction and its Architects, material handling equipment suppliers, Launch and Start-Up teams, Finance, Volume Planning, and Capacity Planning teams among others.Implement new Design standards in collaboration with World Wide Design, Safety, Process Engineering, Material Handling Equipment, and Launch.Oversee new expansion, retrofit, process improvement initiatives and opportunities at the project level to support associate driver safety, quality, productivity, and the capacity increase for the delivery stations.Implement new template designs, process improvements, safety processes, etc. into standard designs.Facilitate cross-functional project specific reviews to collaborate on design solutions.Essential SkillsProject managementConstructionTime studiesIndustrial engineeringContinuous improvementWorkflow analysisAUTOCAD experience for CAD designAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent industrial and operations background.Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar process and building layout design and development role, ideally in fast-paced industrial, logistics, distribution, fulfillment or production/manufacturing environment.Knowledge and proficiency in standard design tools such as AutoCAD, MS Visio, Solidworks, etc.Process Engineering skills and excellent Project Management skills.Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with business partners and key stakeholders.Ability to work under pressure in a cross-functional organization.High level of written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Work Environment
This role will be onsite three days a week at the worksite address provided. Candidates must be willing to work onsite three days a week at the Everest building.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00
