Job Title: Design Engineer Job Description We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to support our growing portfolio of distribution work. Our Distribution group is directly supporting Tier 1 Utilities and is approaching new project phases that require production support. This role involves conducting design, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems. Responsibilities + Conduct design, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems. + Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced work environment. + Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, adapting communication style to different audiences. Essential Skills + Minimum 2 years of experience in design within electrical-design oriented software such as AutoCAD. + Proficiency in electrical design, utility design, AutoCAD, CAD, substation design, protection and control, physical substation design, civil design, structural design, and power delivery. + 1-2 years of experience in the engineering field, specifically in civil, structural, distribution physical substation, or electrical utility design. + Strong knowledge of utility engineering and power distribution. + Background in CAD or GIS. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Active role in a professional engineering organization is preferred. Work Environment This is a hybrid role: 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
