Description
The Civil Design Engineer will provide design efforts from inception through production both in new product design and in existing product redesign. This role will assist in design & engineering, quality assurance, and project management support.
●\tDevelop and interprets engineering drawings and facilitates correction of errors on drawings and documents
●\tDevelops calculations and cost estimates
●\tDevelops technical project reports and technical memorandums
●\tAssist with development of project work plans
●\tMaintains records or oversees recording of information by others to ensure engineering drawings and documents are current and that engineering-related production problems and resolutions are documented.
●\tAssist with quality control plans
●\tParticipate in engineering and general design reviews as required
●\tRefine and Complete designs after design review meetings
●\tSupport efforts to develop and maintain project work plans
●\tCommunicate on task status and support internal project communication
This position may sit out of their Detroit or East Lansing office.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.00
