Job Description
We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to support our growing portfolio of distribution work. Our Distribution group is directly supporting Tier 1 Utilities and is approaching new project phases that require production support. This role involves conducting design, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems.
ResponsibilitiesConduct design, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems.Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced work environment.Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, adapting communication style to different audiences.Essential SkillsMinimum 2 years of experience in design within electrical-design oriented software such as AutoCAD supporting utility projects.Proficiency in electrical design, utility design, AutoCAD, CAD.1-2 years of experience in the engineering field, specifically in distribution physical substation, or electrical utility design.Strong knowledge of utility engineering and power distribution.Background in CAD or GIS preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsActive role in a professional engineering organization is preferred.Work Environment
This is a hybrid role: 3 days in office, 2 days remote in Providence, RI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00
