Design Engineer
Our client, a leader in the engineering sector, is seeking a Design Engineer to join their team. As a Design Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Aftermarket team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Design Engineer **Location:** **Pay Range:** $80,000 - $125,000 **What's the Job?** + Provide contract design responsibility to translate design specifications and code requirements into product design. + Review customer purchase orders for engineering content and completeness to meet design and contract requirements. + Offer documented technical and analytical support to clients regarding HTI equipment operation and compliance. + Write Technical Evaluations for customer revisions and material substitutions. + Support manufacturing by providing technical assistance to resolve conflicts related to design requirements. **What's Needed?** + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in industrial rotating machinery. + Thorough understanding of pertinent codes and regulations, especially ASME Code Section VIII or Section III. + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications. + Competency in SolidWorks and proficiency in MathCad, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. + Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work on innovative engineering projects. + Collaborative work environment with a focus on continuous improvement. + Professional development opportunities to enhance your skills. + Engagement in diverse and challenging assignments. + Supportive team culture that values contributions from all members.
