Design Engineer

System One is currently seeking a Design Engineer on a 2 year contract position located in Atlanta, GA.
Design Engineer Responsibilities: Assists in the planning, design, and development of technical standards for gas distribution infrastructure projects. Work on gas storage or gas fueling station assignments Perform assignments involving the design of components or functionality of pipeline products Involved in the planning and design of mechanical equipment and components involving maintenance of mechanical equipment. Perform system balances to determine the best overall solution to solve system issues or identify system low points and methods to best solve them. Provide oversight and support for construction activities.
Design Engineer Requirements: BA/BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil or General) 1-3 years of progressive Engineering experience Preferred: Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) Project Management Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization Computer Assisted Design/Geographic Information System - basic proficiency MS Office - advanced proficiency CAD/GIS - intermediate proficiency

Pay Rate: $36/hr
