Design Engineer
Job Title: Design EngineerJob Description Partner with structural engineers to design and model products for customers. Create blueprints and bills of materials (BOM) for offsite manufacturing. Work with subcontractors and contractors on installation expectations. Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines. Essential Skills + Proficiency in CAD software. + Experience with AutoCAD, Design, Drafting, Inventor, Solidworks, Creo, and ProE. + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. + At least 6 months of experience with 3D modeling software (Solidworks, Inventor, or Creo). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. + Experience with 3D modeling software such as Solidworks, Inventor, or Creo. Work Environment Small office with 15 employees, looking to add 2-3 more detailers/drafters. Drafters will work closely with engineers and other drafters in a family-like atmosphere without a corporate feel. The company offers a laid-back environment with flexibility in work hours as long as tasks are completed. The company covers 100% of employee healthcare and offers a 401k plan with up to 4% matching. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
