Our client, a leader in engineering solutions, is seeking a Design Engineer to join their team. As a Design Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting product development and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, which will align successfully in the organization.
 
Job Title: Design Engineer
Location: Olive Branch, MS
Pay Range: $40-$45/hour
 
What’s the Job?

Research, analyze, design, and test component parts, processes, or systems to develop new and/or improve core products. Develop and validate solutions to engineering requirements, ensuring that design objectives, cost, and schedule constraints are met. Apply engineering principles and mathematical models to predict and measure design alternatives and validate test results. Provide technical information for review within the Product Engineering team, supporting established engineering practices and standards. Write supporting documentation for procedures, technical reports, and responses to customer requirements. 
What’s Needed? Bachelor’s degree (BS) in an engineering or science discipline; Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred. 4-6 years of related engineering experience. Proficiency in engineering design and analysis tools, including CAD or modeling systems. Strong ability to apply engineering principles in problem-solving and product development. Experience with gear design and AIAG Quality Standards is a plus.
