Job ID#210302** **Job Description:** • Prepare all necessary documents to support the interior and structural modification of Bombardier aircraft such as detail, assembly and installation drawings, specification documents and substantiation reports. • Coordinate with outside suppliers, internal departments and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, and certification of new interior components to support floorplan modifications. • Research specification for component selection. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure specifications are met. • Support statement of work creation and bids for new customer requests. • Assist service center personnel in investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build/modification and test issues and create deviation drawings as required. • Work in a team environment **How to thrive in this role?** • You hold a Bachelor of Science Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with two (2) years of experience in business aircraft uinteriors design • If you do not have a bachelors degree, you have a minimum of eight (8) years of practical mechanical design experience in aviation. • You are proficient in creating mechanical drawings using AutoCad or CATIA (preferred) • You have a working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA). • You are proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) • You are a self-starter and able to handle multiple initiatives effectively. • You exhibit excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. • You are an organized individual, able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments and organizations with a general good attitude and disposition.
