Position Summary: This position is responsible for assisting in designing of new components or products and improve existing components or products.

Major Responsibilities:

Assist in creating/modifying 2D/3D drawings & Models in SolidWorks.Work on ECRs/ECNs, create complete and accurate drawing packages within assigned timeProvides support to design or improves basic components and products with a basic understanding of design tools and methods.Optimizes basic components and products with a basic understanding of analysis methods.Assists in solving basic problems with an aptitude for basic problem solving skills.Support in creating design documents, installation instructions, customer data sheets etc.Communicate effectively and professionally with cross functional teams and customers.PIM: Study different product catalogue and provide details to IT teamDeveloping CAD files for customersDevelop outline drawings for customer approvalExecute Orders by using DDM & Oracle software

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a reputed college with good academic record.Experience: Up to 2 years of experience in designing any industrial products like Bearing, Couplings, gearboxes, pumps, Material handling equipment or machine tools.Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Proficient in 3D Modelling and 2D drafting with any of below CAD tool/tools2D – AutoCAD/Draftsight3D - SolidWorksKnowledge of GD&T, drafting standards.Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision and with sense of urgency.Competent in Microsoft computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Good verbal, written communication and presentation skills.SAP knowledge will add advantage.
