Analyze & resolve complex problems independently or w/minimal guidance. Create part specification reqs & BOM. Negotiate w/surrounding component business units & suppliers. Perform cost analysis, strength calculations & material selection. Search new ways to increase overall efficiency, utilize up-to-date tech & reduce design & parts costs. Travel to client sites req.
