Route199, the In-House Agency at American Greetings, seeks a Design INTERN to join our CREATIVE MARKETING agency which works to help people celebrate holidays, each other, and all of life’s special moments, in-person and online, guided by our purpose to make the world a more thoughtful and caring place every single day.

If you are an excellent designer + conceptor and have great examples of your creative thinking brought to life, if you’d like to work with a team of Creatives to leverage insights and strategy to create awesome marketing campaigns and assets.

**In order to be considered for the role, please include a pdf of or a link to your portfolio showcasing concepting/problem solving skills which communicate ideas, themes and storytelling across a range of projects. Sketch books and illustrations to show thinking and versatility.

Internship Program Summary:
o Dates of Internship: This is a 10-week, paid internship (Monday, June 2, 2025 – Friday, August 8, 2025)
o Location: Westlake, Ohio
o Work Environment: You will be working in a hybrid environment that requires working on-site, 2 days each week.
o Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
o Our Internship Program is designed to provide students with real and meaningful work experiences in their field of interest while providing valuable insight into other key areas of the business.
o Along with the work you will be performing, we have curated a calendar of events and learning opportunities that will keep you engaged and excited!

Requirements:
o Must have plans to reside in Northeast Ohio for the Summer of 2025
 There is no housing stipend associated with this internship
o Currently enrolled in an accredited college, pursuing an undergraduate degree and entering your Junior or Senior year
o Must be able to work full time hours for the duration of the internship
