This is a role that will significantly impact the operation of the PxD vertical. Reporting to the LAC Head of Product and Experience Design (PxD), the individual in this role will primarily be responsible for planning, organize, coordinate, optimize the design operations of the group, working with Consultants, Engagement Leads, Designers, Legal, Compliance and other Internal and External Stakeholders such as third-party agencies, all to empower the LAC PxD team to do their best work in the most effective and efficient way and reach scale.

 

Essential Functions

Operations 

Budget, planning, management and spending optimization, cost center management, contracts, sourcing, vendor onboarding

Adapt Visa Processes to PxD practice and continuously seek out ways to improve them.

Get expertise in Visa tools, systems, and processes to execute capacity planning, tool enablement and workflow management.

Design resources allocation planning and management, track them and agencies bandwidth to plan and distribute design work. 

Coordinate logistics for Design Prohects with Venues, Meals, and Design Materials

Partnerships with Finance, sourcing, product, legal, compliance and other areas

Manage Design Operations and processes framework in PxD Playbook

Coordinate with Global and other regional Design Operations teams for best practices sharing and improvements.

Vendor Management

Research, qualify and on-board new agencies. 

Agencies Management, due diligence, oversight, coordinate trainings, risk management and compliance.

Manage Vendors Portfolio by areas of expertise and bandwidth.

Create, manage, control, and renew statement of works and Purchase Orders and its conciliation.

Track and Monitor Design Agencies expenses for budget management.

Controls and reporting

Internal Control and Audit records

Design Assets Records Management and tools to exchange secured documents with agencies and third parties.

Develop, manage, and communicate to key metrics.

Manage Clients Project Surveys

Conduct regular status meetings to assure the coordination of all projects. 

Keep updated on Visa Risk Management Policies related to Agencies Vendor Management and train the team.

Ensure Data Integrity and conciliation in VPC (VCA Platform)

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications

6 or more years of relevant work experience in a creative agency or consulting environment (agency or client side) in a relevant role: Program Manager, Creative Operations, Design Operations or Project Management or 4 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhDAdept at collaborative work in diverse functional environments and possesses strong project management skills and resource allocation management.A hands-on, proactive and driver talent with a keen balance between creativity, intellectual curiosity, and project management, show openness to new ideas, modifying viewpoints and direction considering new information and adaptable in changing situations.Energetic, positive, and motivated when tackling challenging problems with good interpersonal skills.Tech-savvy, with experience in working with latest software tools for project and resources management.Fluent in English and Spanish, with Portuguese proficiency being a plus.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 112,500.00 to 163,050.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
