We're hiring a Design Ops individual to support a popular North American based retail company. You will work to unify their design teams - aligning everyone on processes and protocols. You will bring uniformity to the teams. You will assist in creating and tracking timelines for the team - with the ability to provide updates on where any project stands, at any given time. You will run sprint ceremonies - noting how much work the team can commit to for each sprint. You will assist with backlog management - noting where they are performing well, where the team is struggling, and working to understand the why for each of them. Currently, each group is doing their own sprint planning and have their own processes - you will be tasked with coming and defining the standard/creating one unified way of doing things across all groups. You will identify and escalate roadblocks as needed. Define and track KPIs for the team to ensure operational efficiency. Design and implement onboarding process of new hires. The right candidate will not be afraid to jump in roll their sleeves up, reach out to the necessary stakeholders to get the information they need, and operate in an often times ambiguous environment.
