**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Design Project Engineer** to join our team! In this role you will get to **work on major water infrastructure for a world-class utility in Southern Nevada.**

**_What You Will Be Doing:_**
+ Manage project design processes through monitoring the technical aspects of the project, coordinate with designers, contractors and owners and perform design management functions through construction.
+ Collaborate, coordinate and schedule the design project with regular interaction with teams to ensure optimization of engineering design and prioritization of design work to meet major milestones.
+ Ensure designs comply with all applicable codes and regulations.
+ Provide technical reviews and consultations for interdisciplinary analyses and technical accuracy.
+ Prepare material/equipment specifications and purchase requisitions; reviews supplier data; witness shop testing, assists with assessing supplier manufacturing capabilities.
+ Develop operations and maintenance plans, manuals and standard operating procedures; may conduct on-site training of personnel.
+ Lead junior engineers, design personnel and staff in technical excellence and growth toward streamlined execution, quality and risk management improvement.
+ Perform analyses and recommendations with design projects specific to accessibility, availability, reliability, constructability, operations and maintenance and above all, safety.
**_Required:_**
+ 4-year degree in engineering (or related field).
+ 5-8 years of responsible civil engineering related experience.
+ Ability to manage time well.
+ Good organizational skills.
+ Good Communication Skills to provide Clarity and Expectations.
**_Desired Skills You Will Bring:_**
+ Experience with water engineering design is preferred but not required.
+ ACAD and REVIT experience is preferred but not required.
+ LIDAR experience is preferred but not required.
+ Ability to obtain State of Nevada PE licensure within 12 months of hire.

Salary Range:
$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
