Responsibilities

The candidate will support design engineering team on various RF test evaluation of RFIC's and multichip modules. With suitable instruction and supervision, the person will be expected to 

Communicate effectively using basic RF terminology  Perform RF tests, evaluate and summarize test data, and present data to design team engineers in a timely manner Engage in supervised but self-motivated research of related technical topics The candidate will also be involved in design evaluation, simulation, and debugging of RFIC designs that could include RF Switches, Filters, Couplers, PA, LNA, and FEM. Requirements Be currently enrolled in a BSEE, MSEE Electrical Engineering (or related) degree program. Be able and available to work on site starting Jan 2025 through to June 2025. Have a basic knowledge of RF / analog electronic circuits and principles Have a suitable background in RF design or concepts Have knowledge or interest in RF testing and RF equipment setup Desireable knowledge / experience Basic understanding of high frequency RF circuit design. Basic familiarity with RF circuit blocks, such as LNA and PAs. Self-starter with a strong work ethic Willingness to work in a hands-on environment Familiarity with Keysight Advanced Design System(ADS), Cadence Analog Artist, or similar simulation tools. Strong time management skills Good communication, organization, and documentation skills

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
