Toll Brothers, America's Leading Builder of Luxury Homes, seeks a Design Studio Consultant for our team in Houston, Texas

 

What is the opportunity?

 

The Design Studio Consultant position is responsible for guiding the buyer through the selection of Included Features and Available Personal Choices (options/upgrades), thoroughly and on-time, while adhering to company policies and procedures and representing the company by keeping in line with the builder’s code of ethics, values, and mission statement. This position will Interact with other departments as needed (i.e. Purchasing, Marketing, Accounting, Conveyancing, Construction, Customer Care, etc.) and will be tasked with completing required paperwork accurately and timely. Proficiency with department specific technology is necessary.

 

What are the primary responsibilities?

Assist Prospective Buyers/Home Buyers with Tours and Options SelectionsMeet with prospective buyers to share knowledge and excitement about Design Studio environment, procedures, and available products. Assist deposit tours as neededProvide scripted tours of Design Studio environment, delivered in a professional manner, well-articulated, and with positive energyOrientation tour responsibilities include assisting the with meet/greet, present chosen tour categories, set up & clean upBe familiar with product and house warranty specifics and be able to communicate this to buyersAdhere to predetermined deadlines for selection appointments, change requests, etc.Administrative FunctionsComplete Buyer selection paperwork accurately and by deadlinesNavigate the Toll Intranet for product and builder informationUtilize Pivotal or Enterprise One software and Studio selection software to enter home selections and options contract documentsUse Salesforce to review customer and scheduling information, manage tasks, and enter buyer communicationInteract with internal mortgage company personnel as needed to confirm buyer affordabilitySubmit paperwork to buyers for final authorization thru DocuSign and authorization process to internal business partnersPrepare and double-check final document package for accuracy and submit to construction teamProcess special requests with appropriate approvals from managementAnswer phones as neededInterdepartmental CommunicationProvide status updates to Design Studio ManagerProvide buyer feedback internallyMaintain communication with on-site Sales ConsultantsWalk-through with sales/construction/marketing personnel of all merchandised modelsExecute selections for Quick Move-In inventory homes as needed by communitiesContinuing Education/Meeting AttendanceField visits as needed. Tour community models, Quick Move-In homes and homes in productionAttend education sessions/training from trade partners regarding included features and available personal choices, as well as internal company training regarding construction, new communities/floor plans etc. Attend product knowledge meetings monthly and/or quarterlyStay current on home product trends and/or design styles/colors via (vendor trainings, online research, etc.)All other duties as assigned

Essential:Great sales skillsBasic knowledge of homebuilding/construction techniquesExcellent communication and organization skillsPatience, empathy and good listening skillsEnthusiastic attitude: desire to ensure process is enjoyable, smooth and easy for the buyerPreferred:Design knowledge, real estate/builder experience a plusAn Interior Design degree is a plus
