Description: Drafting for Duke energy on Distribution projects. Project work will include the following: Preparing forestry trimming requests, facilitating permit and Right-of-Way acquisition, development of a BOM, estimating costs, etc. Technicians will support major distribution projects for the utility industry and will utilize Small World for GIS work and BOUD for drafting/design work (duke) and ArcFM (dominion) All projects will be related to electric power distribution and leadership - specifically make - ready and smart antenna Skills: autocad, Drafting, microstation, boud, red line, Schematics Top Skills Details: autocad,Drafting Additional Skills & Qualifications: Associate of Science Degree required Bachelor of Science degree (non engineering) 2 years of experience in drafting supporting power delivery industry or telecommunication industry is preferred Must be proficient in AutoCAD or related design tool (Solidworks, microstation, inventor) Duke Energy BOUD Engineering technologist Telecommunications Power Distribution Power Delivery Utilities Experience Level: Entry Level About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
