Looking for a Mechanical Designer to join a renowned Aviation company in Everett, WA! Job Description Leads the development of highly complex equipment and tooling concepts and specifications to meet aerospace product design and build requirements. Oversees design reviews, collection of design requirements, drawing creation and revision. Researches the application of robotics, automation, and new technology to support build plans. Creates off-load packages, specifications, purchase requests, and usage instructions for equipment and tooling. Ensures designs comply with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors, and regulatory requirements. Establishes and validates spares requirements. Implements best practices into functional process documentation to standardize work. Oversees the development and documentation of equipment and tooling inspection, usage instructions, preventative maintenance plans, and user training. Provides technical direction to support engineering changes and discrepancy resolution. Maintains hardware and software configuration. Assesses and makes recommendations for the disposition of equipment and tooling. Hard Skills + Experience with design and specification of aerospace equipment and tooling + Ability to create and revise drawings and models + Proficiency in maintaining hardware and software configurations + Advanced education in a related field (Associate degree or higher) Soft Skills + Leadership and oversight capabilities + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Effective communication and documentation skills Job Type This is a contract position with a duration of 52 Weekly.
