This position reports to

Project Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and modify the standard designs of equipment, systems, or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction, using standard design concepts. Each day, you will design engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contract specifications. You will also showcase your expertise by contributing to design reviews and design verification and modifying the design, as necessary. The work model for the role is #LI -Onsite.This role is contributing to Our Electrification Business at Bengaluru, India.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tKnowledge about design of electrical control panels according to relevant standards like IEC 61439, IEC 60204, IEC 61921.•\tRelevant experience in detailed designing LV control panels Like PCC, IMCC, PMCC, Drives etc. •\tDesigns engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contractual specification. •\tCreates or reviews engineering drawings, specifications and plans required by manufacturing, fabrication, or construction. •\tContributes to design reviews and design verification, modifies design, as necessary.

Qualifications for the role

\tBE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.\t3 to 5 years in LV Switchgear engineering involving MCC, PCC, IMCC, comprising components like ACB, MCCB, Soft Starters, VFD, ATS, Transformer Bus duct. \tKnowledge in Auto CAD, Solid Works, Creo, MS Office, SAP.\tShares best practices Lessons-Learned documentation across different projects.\t•\tActively contributes and shares experiences in workshops pertaining to engineering design, tools, and processes.
