This position reports to

Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and modify the standard designs of equipment, systems, or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction, using standard design concepts. Each day, you will design engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contract specifications. You will also showcase your expertise by contributing to design reviews and design verification and modifying the design, as necessary. • Define the LV service product design specification based on the customer needs.• Design the mechanical solution according to the technical specification, including drawings and bill of materials.• Use standard development processes and tools to implement the mechanical design.• Design mechanical solution in compliance with relevant standards, safety and quality requirements.• Accurately implement the design solution to ensure the delivery of high-quality deliverables on time and in budget.• Verified the design solution by internal test or type testing.• Eliminate the mechanical design defects in the factory and on site and ensure the timely delivery and smooth commissioning of the solution.• Conduct continuous operational excellence, standardization and localization.• Provide technical support for service products or solutions to internal and external customers proactively.• Actively contribute and share engineering design, product knowledge, project best practices and lessons learned.• Implement ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your actions and caring for your colleagues and enterprises.

Qualifications for the role

Must have bachelor's degree or above in mechanical design or relevant discipline. At least 2 years related mechanical design experience. Good primary design experiences in power products area. Familiar with basic knowledge of LV products. Familiar with office software, such as Solidworks, AutoCAD, PLM, Office, etc. Good English listening, speaking and writing skill.
