What You'll Do
As a Visual Designer you will work with our consultant teams, completing design projects by driving briefs, translating business language and processes into creative concepts to achieve their vision and leverage storytelling compliance with BCG standards. You’ll participate in briefs that gather the business challenge, conceptualize solutions, support all design decisions, and present concepts with internal clients. Your output will be a wide range of designs, mainly presentation/document design to illustration, infographics and other graphic designs.

What You'll Bring
• Bachelor's degree in design, graphic design, fine arts, or a related field is a plus
• 2-4 years of experience in a professional services environment, design start-up, or design agency.
• Proven knowledge of MS office especially PowerPoint as well as the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.); experience with other Adobe tools: (inDesign, Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects), Figma (incl. Design Systems), Miro, Verint, and ArcMap are a plus, as is a gift for free-hand illustrations and/or digital drawings.
• Proven experience in PowerPoint design, with advanced PowerPoint skills to effectively visualize complex business information
• Excellent visual communications skills, with the ability to deliver clear and impactful message
• Experience working in a collaborative design environment; work experience in global teams is a plus.
• You have strong knowledge of visual design and visual theory (i.e., composition, color theory, typography, etc.), a sharp eye for layout design, and a strong affinity for the latest design trends and new media (augmented/virtual reality, social media, etc.)
• You have proven B2B experience, deep knowledge of business language, and proven client-facing experience, having effective influence, network and relationship building skill
• A strong portfolio including presentation design, showcasing experience in visualizing strategic concept/information
• Excellent Japanese written and verbal communication skills, business level of English skill (speaking/writing)

• Crafting solutions including presentations, branding and logos, brochures, infographics, iconography, storyboards, posters, data visualization, communications, web banners, prototypes and consumer mock-ups, marketing and event materials, etc. for cases, proposals, workshops, and campaigns
• You are able to translate business language into appealing visualizations and visuals, balancing design thinking with intuition for business
• You have structured self-organization and strong partnership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. You are resilient and thrive in a fast-paced design environment
