Position Description:
This position will be responsible for designing, checking and maintaining various drawings using standard CAD packages. This position will coordinate activities with other designers, drafters, engineering, and other functions related to construction and maintenance of Kinder Morgan assets and maintain design/drafting documentation and records making sure that drawings comply with regulations and company requirements. This position reports to the Design and Drafting Supervisor for Products Pipelines/Midstream.
Duties and Responsibilities include following but not limited to:
Help develop completed drawing packages in accordance with the KM standard drawing format.Develops drawings of various types: plot plans, orthographic, isometric, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and other types of diagrams, Structural, Mechanical, Civil, Piping at a high level of proficiency.Utilize raster editing software.Provides field sketches for piping design.Works with x-ref supported drawing files.Selects material for pipe and components to meet established design pressure.Understands adequate spacing requirements for equipment and piping layout.Understands the function of midstream pipeline facility equipment.Learns and incorporates terminology and acronyms of Kinder Morgan and industry standards into drawings and related work outputs.Other Duties and Responsibilities as requested.", "employmentType" : "Full Time", "educationRequirements" : "High School Diploma", "experienceRequirements" : "5 - 7 Years", "industry" : [ ], "jobLocation" : [ { "@type" : "Place", "name" : "TX-HOUSTON", "address" : { "@type" : "PostalAddress", "addressLocality" : "HOUSTON", "addressRegion" : "TX", "postalCode" : "77002", "addressCountry" : "USA" } } ], "responsibilities" : "Position Requirements and Skills include but not limited to:
