Job Title: Designer
Job Description

We are seeking a talented designer to create drawings for components and assemblies using SolidWorks. You will be responsible for editing and revising existing drawings, maintaining design files, supporting the Engineering team with new product creation, and providing drawing interpretations during the assembly process. Your ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings and designs is essential.

ResponsibilitiesCreate drawings for components and assemblies using SolidWorks.Edit and revise existing drawings while maintaining design files.Support the Engineering team in the creation of new products.Provide drawing interpretations to the shop during assembly processes.Understand and interpret mechanical drawings and designs.Essential SkillsProficiency in SolidWorks.Experience with AutoCAD.Strong mechanical design skills.Experience with CAD and drafting.Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate degree or equivalent technical certification in Mechanical Design/Drafting or relevant work experience.3-5+ years of experience in a related role.Work Environment

Most of your time will be spent at a desk doing design work. You will also collaborate with Project Managers and Engineering teams during assembly processes. This role offers the opportunity to join a growing team in the Greater Lexington Area and work on diverse projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $29.00/hr.
