The Design (stylist) position with Vehicle Personalization allows you to work on a vast product range. The Vehicle Personalization Designer will be expected to do the following jobs: Create unique exterior and interior designs proposals for Vehicle Personalization projects. Prepare 2D and 3D concepts using appropriate computer technology. Forecast design trends as they apply to the respective project. Analyze Design Brand DNA as it relates to the vehicle line and create appropriate designs. Gather input from Vehicle Personalization management. Interface with and obtain input from Planning, Marketing and Engineering teams. Collaborate with other design disciplines such as product marketing, engineering, and vendors to execute project objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Follow the development of physical models. Responsible for delivering projects on time and with high quality, based on agreed schedule with VP management. Abide by established Security guidelines.
This designer will focus on the Ford Custom Garage initiative and lead all design direction under the supervision of the VP Chief Designer.

You'll have…
Bachelor's degree in Transportation Design or Industrial Design or related field.Minimum 5 years professional experience or an advanced design degree. Automotive experience is required. Equivalent experience in automotive design, working with suppliers and licensed partners. Can visually articulate brand vision and definition through a design portfolio.

Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator. Use of Adobe Creative suite, Alias, V-Red and Microsoft Office software.Experience preparing presentation boards and presentations in Powerpoint. Demonstrate strong collaboration, communication, and organization skills. Ability to write, sketch and manage a wide variety of content. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment.
