Designer - Electrical / P&ID (AutoCAD)

Summary: Seeking a Designer proficient in AutoCAD for developing electrical schematics and P&IDs on a 12-month contract.

Job Requirements:

US Citizen or Green Card holder

Willing to work remotely on a 4X10 schedule

Available to work on-site in Idaho Falls, ID for the first week

5+ years of relevant experience

Proficient in AutoCAD

Knowledge of nationally recognized standards (e.g., ANSI, ASME, MIL-STD)

Understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, structural, and civil drawings

Advanced experience in the development of electrical schematics and P&IDs

Preferred Skills:

Experience in training/mentoring junior staff

Job Responsibilities:

Work as part of an integrated engineering project team

Complete architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings with a focus on piping and instrumentation diagrams

Create drawings from notes, sketches or general instruction

Provide field/as-building documentation support

Prepare new drawings and drawing changes according to company and nationally recognized standards using AutoCAD and Revit software

Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and efficiency standards



Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
