Where is the work: 

This position has been designated as Remote. 

Job Summary: 

Digital Designers are responsible for the creation of imagery and animations used throughout the company’s Controls software, as well as formatting the HTML files that imagery lives in. These images include floor plans, hydronic (piping) systems, equipment pieces, and building/ site renderings. They are expected to be proficient in 3DS Max, Photoshop and other design software as needed. A designer needs to be able to manage their time and stick to a preordained schedule and must be able to work and communicate with multiple Project managers, as well as their people manager to accomplish their work. This is a production role, and designers are expected to maintain a minimum number of billable hours per month. The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, reliable and enjoys completing many small tasks on a deadline.

 

Responsibilities: 

Create imagery, animation and HTMLs for use in Trane controls productsWork with Project leads to meet customer needsWork with peers to ensure effective teamwork and communication within the tribe.Work with their manager to develop skills, improve efficiency and meet deadlinesReview their own work to ensure it meets standardsMeet minimum billable hours and quality results monthly

Requirements: 

Strong Communication Skills (written and oral)Bachelor's degree (or greater)Knowledge of 3DS Max or similar CAD softwareKnowledge of Photoshop and other Adobe design softwareAbility to keep to a schedule and communicate when reality shiftsWillingness to learn new technologies and adapt as needs change

Compensation:   

Base Pay Range: $60,000-$65,000

 

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
