Kforce has a client in Tempe, AZ that is seeking a Desktop and Data Support Scanner Operator for the evening shift. The first week they work, we will ask them to come in 6am to 2pm for training. The contracted time will be 90 days with possible month to month extensions after.
Summary:
This position is responsible for scanning and quality control of all corporate documents, maintenance of scanning equipment and related computer hardware, and coordination/maintenance of records for off-site storage. In addition, this position is responsible for indexing and maintaining the corporate imaging database. The candidate performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
Core Functions:
* Accurately scans daily requisitions in batches and all other corporate documents to meet established deadlines into the corporate information system and onto network storage
* Maintains scanners and computers according to established procedures on a daily basis and troubleshoots and performs in-house repairs to minimize downtime
* Performs quality control using the quality assurance measures defined to maintain 100% scans and reduce missing images
* Researches problems with images and missing images, by accessing imaging system and Laboratory information systems and/or working with other departments to resolve issues
* Performs custom scanning requests and route files to proper network directories in a timely and accurate manner; Returns documents to requestor or destroys per requestor's choice, in compliance with HIPAA and/or security regulations
* Provides customer support throughout the company on the scanning application and technologies including consultation with customers, training on computer/scanning equipment and software/scanning applications
