Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Desktop Engineer in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Essential Job Functions: * Senior Desktop Engineer designs, maintains, and troubleshoots operating system images and task sequences for a variety of physical and virtual platforms * Packages and executes application deployments using Microsoft's standard installer technology (MSI) and transforms (MST) using industry-standard tools * Performs advanced troubleshooting on desktop/laptop-related issues using industry-standard tools such as ProcMon and Process Explorer * Manages and maintains user profile management products such as VMware * Writes and maintains scripts using industry-standard scripting languages including VBScript and PowerShell * Configures, deploys, and monitors OS and application updates through Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and other delivery mechanisms * As a Senior Desktop Engineer, you will manage and troubleshoot Group Policy throughout the enterprise with a focus on application delivery and workstation management * Recommends and implements improvements to desktop architecture and design * Other duties as deemed appropriate by the manager
