Desktop Infrastructure Administrator
Position Summary
Works with business clients, IT departments, and vendors to maintain the end user technology stack which includes; the operating system, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), mobile devices (MDM, MAM), hardware, and other end points. Works with multiple administrative systems to maintain the integrity of the overall desktop infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Supports and maintains the enterprise end user computing platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability Maintains standard operating procedures and knowledge base documentation Assists with routine administration tasks as necessary Assists in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements to existing applications Resolves incident tickets as they arise and ensure timely resolution Performs system changes during and after business hours and participates in an on-call support rotation for providing after-hours support Communicates status of all projects, problems, and issues to the department manager. Maintains a professional and helpful demeanor Performs other related duties as assigned Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function Competent to meet age specific needs of the patients servedRequirements and Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree or Vocational/ Technical diploma with emphasis in Information Science or related discipline degree from accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred Deep knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Windows based applications Minimum 1 year Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Management experience preferred Strong organization and time management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong troubleshooting skills that include application and operating systems diagnosticsWorking Conditions
