Description We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Help Desk Technician to provide technical support to our warehouse and office staff in Allen, Texas. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving network connectivity problems, and supporting a variety of applications, including Active Directory, Office 365, and specialized warehouse printers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for providing exceptional IT support. Responsibilities: Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to Windows operating systems, Office 365 suite (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams), and other standard business applications. Support and maintain warehouse printers, including Zebra and Honeywell label printers, ensuring proper functionality and connectivity. Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory, including creating, modifying, and disabling accounts. Assist with the setup and configuration of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections. Document all support interactions in a ticketing system, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed. Maintain a positive and detail oriented demeanor while providing exceptional customer service. Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge base articles and FAQs. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security protocols. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in IT or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in a help desk or technical support role. Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, Office 365 applications, and Active Directory. Experience supporting Zebra and Honeywell printers in a warehouse environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic networking concepts. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong customer service orientation and a passion for helping others. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk) is a plus. CompTIA A+ certification is a plus.
