Description We are on the hunt for a diligent Desktop Support Analyst to be part of our team based in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. This role involves offering technical assistance related to computer systems, hardware, and software. As a Desktop Support Analyst, your tasks will primarily include deploying and imaging Windows 10 on multiple machines, as well as addressing helpdesk calls and updating project spreadsheets. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Deploying Windows 10 on various machines as part of a team • Imaging systems with Microsoft Windows 10 • Fielding helpdesk calls to provide technical assistance • Updating project spreadsheets with relevant information • Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth deployment of Windows 10 • Resolving technical issues related to the deployment and imaging process • Using Microsoft Windows 7 skills as needed • Maintaining open communication with team members regarding project status and updates • Ensuring all technical tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner • Continuously updating technical knowledge and skills. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Windows 10 • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proven track record of maintaining detail oriented customer service in stressful situations • Knowledge of computer hardware and software installation and troubleshooting • Experience with network troubleshooting and configuration • Strong problem-solving abilities • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to urgency and importance • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems • Must be available for on-call support as needed • Relevant certifications or equivalent work experience in IT support roles will be considered an asset.
