Desktop Support Analyst

Description We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team based in ARDEN, North Carolina. In this critical role, you will primarily focus on providing technical support, maintaining hardware, managing user accounts, and ensuring IT security in our manufacturing industry. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to desktop users through various channels including phone, email, and in-person interactions
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime and maintain workflow continuity
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals
• Conduct hardware upgrades, replacements, and repairs as needed to optimize performance and functionality
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot software applications, including operating systems, productivity suites, and specialized business software
• Create, modify, and disable user accounts and access permissions in line with established policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and inventory of hardware and software assets
• Assist in implementing and enforcing IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect against cybersecurity threats and data breaches
• Collaborate with other IT teams to address complex technical issues, implement system upgrades, and deploy new technologies
• Provide training and guidance to users on IT best practices, security awareness, and self-service tools. Requirements • Demonstrated experience with Cisco Technologies
• Proficiency in Citrix Technologies
• Familiarity with Computer Hardware
• Experience working with Dell Technologies
• Knowledge and experience in using Active Directory
• Ability to support and troubleshoot Apple Devices
• Understanding of Backup Technologies
• Experience in Configuration Management
• Proficiency in using Ticketing Systems
• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in the manufacturing industry
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies
