Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst based in Arden, North Carolina. The individual in this role will be an integral part of our team in the manufacturing industry, providing technical support and maintaining hardware and software systems to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to desktop users through phone, email, remote assistance tools, and face-to-face interactions, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware systems such as desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals, optimizing their performance and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, including installation, upgrades, and guidance on usage and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Collaborate with other IT teams, addressing complex technical issues, implementing system upgrades, and deploying new technologies.
• Assist in implementing and enforcing IT security policies and protocols, monitoring systems for security vulnerabilities and taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.
• Create, modify, and disable user accounts according to established policies and procedures, ensuring the security and integrity of user accounts.
• Provide training and guidance to users on IT best practices, security awareness, and self-service tools to improve overall IT literacy within the organization.
• Use your skills in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Computer Hardware, Dell Technologies, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Configuration Management, and Ticketing System to execute all responsibilities effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is needed for network management and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies for virtualization and remote access solutions.
• Practical knowledge of Computer Hardware for diagnosing and resolving hardware-related issues.
• Experience with Dell Technologies, particularly in system configuration and management.
• Proficiency in using Active Directory for network user and resource management.
• Knowledge of Backup Technologies for data protection and recovery.
• Experience with Configuration Management tools for system tracking and control.
• Proficiency in using Ticketing Systems for managing and tracking user issues and requests. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
