Description Desktop Support Technician We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of IT software and hardware support and will possess a TWIC card. This role is on-site in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. Responsibilities: • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter • Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems • Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns • Create and verify backups of data • Respond to and resolve help desk requests • Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution • Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes • Review application logs • Install and test computer-related equipment. Requirements Requirements •Active TWIC Card • Proficiency in Android Development is a must for this role. • Expertise in Cisco Technologies is required. • Knowledge and experience in Citrix Technologies is needed. • Demonstrable experience in handling Computer Hardware is essential. • Familiarity with Dell Technologies will be beneficial. • Proficiency in managing Active Directory is crucial. • Experience in supporting Apple Devices is needed. • Proficiency in Backup Technologies is expected. • Knowledge of Configuration Management is required.
