Description We are in the process of recruiting a Desktop Support Analyst in Woodbridge, New Jersey. The role primarily focuses on offering technical assistance and support connected to computer systems, hardware, and software. The individual will be entrusted with diagnosing and resolving technical issues, setting up and maintaining equipment, and ensuring optimal performance for end-users within the organization. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Offer assistance to user-reported issues through phone, email, or ticketing system. • Troubleshoot and rectify hardware, software, and network-related problems. • Document incidents, problems, and their resolutions for future reference. • Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices. • Manage the setup and maintenance of operating systems, applications, and software updates. • Ensure that security tools such as antivirus software are functioning properly. • Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on computer systems and equipment. • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot slowdowns or outages. • Oversee the inventory of hardware and software assets. • Educate users on basic troubleshooting and system use. • Provide guidance on best practices for maintaining system security. • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex issues. • Escalate unresolved problems to higher-level support or vendors as necessary.
