Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Munster, Indiana. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be involved in the complete management of IT assets, software installation, and providing support in the upgrade projects. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth running of our IT operations and maintaining an efficient IT environment. Responsibilities: • Undertaking a thorough discovery of equipment as part of the project's initial phase • Visiting various locations to assess and register every PC, ensuring total asset management • Inputting the gathered data accurately into designated databases, such as Excel • Progressing through each building until the discovery phase is concluded • Transitioning to the second phase of the project, which involves actual deployment and upgrade • Installing and configuring software on desktops as required • Providing level one helpdesk support, resolving issues as they arise • Utilizing skills in Active Directory, Apple Devices, Backup Technologies, and Configuration Management for effective problem-solving and maintenance. Requirements • Applicants must have proficiency in Active Directory, as it is essential for managing user data and security. • Experience with Apple Devices is required, as the role involves troubleshooting and maintaining these devices. • Knowledge of Backup Technologies is necessary, as the role includes managing and protecting data. • Familiarity with Configuration Management is vital, as the role involves maintaining computer systems and servers in a desired, consistent state.
