Desktop Support Analyst
Description We are in the process of hiring a Desktop Support Analyst for our team in the metal fabrication industry, located in Cypress, California. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be tasked with handling IT-related issues, including support for desktops, laptops, printers, and handheld scanners. Your proficiency in operating systems, applications, and technologies will be crucial to your role. Responsibilities: • Provide support for desktop and application technologies including desktops/laptops, printers, and handheld scanners. • Display a strong working knowledge of the Windows OS and desktop productivity tools such as Microsoft Office. • Manage virtualization technologies and active directory operations. • Understand and troubleshoot networking protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP. • Support VPN applications and Microsoft products and applications, including Windows OS, Office Suite, Teams. • Offer web browser support for platforms such as Chrome, Edge. • Utilize IT Service Management Systems like ServiceNow. • Handle operating systems like Windows, MacOS, Linux. • Manage mobile device management (MDM) solutions and file-sharing platforms like OneDrive, SharePoint. • Support remote desktop protocols and tools. • Provide support for email systems and protocols, including Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, IMAP/SMTP. • Implement endpoint security solutions and offer printer and peripheral support. • Use collaboration tools effectively. Requirements • Proficient in Android Development, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively • Knowledge and experience with Cisco Technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls • Familiarity with Citrix Technologies, including virtualization, networking, and cloud services • Strong understanding of Computer Hardware, with the ability to diagnose and repair issues • Experience with Dell Technologies, particularly in server and storage solutions • Proficient in managing and maintaining Active Directory, including user and group management • Ability to support Apple Devices, including troubleshooting and performing software updates • Experience with Backup Technologies, ensuring data protection and recovery • Knowledge of Configuration Management, including maintaining system security standards and configurations.
