Description We are offering a contract opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Akron, Indiana. The candidate may deliver services either in person or virtually, occasionally requiring after-hours or weekend availability. The position emphasizes adherence to IT standards, processes, and security protocols while being proactive in its enforcement. The role may also involve physical tasks, such as lifting and moving technical equipment, as needed. Responsibilities: • Deliver hands-on and remote technical support for organizational IT assets. • Adhere to and help refine IT processes, best practices, and standards. • Ensure compliance with security policies to safeguard IT information assets. • Document technical issues and resolutions systematically to improve team efficiency and customer service. • Collaborate on IT projects and other team initiatives as directed. Requirements • Associate’s degree (AAS) or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred. • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a bonus. • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in technical support, computer maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
