Description We are in the search for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our clients internal IT team, located in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. As a Desktop Support Analyst, your main role will be to offer technical support to users, maintain IT equipment, provide user training, and document procedures and tasks. Responsibilities: • Undertake the resolution of support tickets promptly and effectively • Provide guidance and training to users on software applications and best practices • Ensure the optimal performance of computer systems through routine maintenance and updates • Collaborate with IT team members to tackle complex technical issues • Carry out the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop and laptop computers, as well as software applications • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT equipment and manage asset tracking • Participate in the setup and deployment of new equipment, including imaging and configuring devices • Uphold the security and privacy of networks and computer systems • Create and maintain documentation for support procedures, troubleshooting steps, and common tasks • Document the outcomes of general troubleshooting to provide future reference material. Requirements • Proficient in Cisco Technologies including routers, switches, and firewalls • Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance • Experience with Active Directory, including user and group management • Familiarity with Backup Technologies for data recovery and protection • Competency in Configuration Management to maintain system security and performance • Proficiency in Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Experience with Active Directory, including user authentication and access management Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
